Many people make a couple of mistakes when trying trace a cell number. What they do is they pop in a search engine query which whisks them away to a page full of large free sites like anywho.com and whitepages.com. They try to look up the information from the cellular number but they can't find it!
What's going on here? What's the darn deal? Well, the sad truth about mobile number traces is that they are impossible to do on one of those free sites. The reality is that the big cell companies, DO NOT want our personal cell number and our personal data to be accessed for free.
In fact, these big cell phone companies actually make money off of our cell numbers and personal data by selling it to a select few web sites, which in turn sell our information to the public. So, Yomiko classics if you want to blame someone for it not being free blame the cell companies. They have a powerful lobby, no doubt.
So, the big free sites don't work. The other pitfall that many people experience is they land on spam site. Which is a site masquerading as legitimate when in fact it's sole purpose is to either infect our computer with spyware, bounce us to offers for Viagra, or worse yet steal our credit/debit card information.
These sites can usually be recognized because they claim that mobile reverse traces on their sites are FREE! Well, as you know, the cell phone giants don't allow that currently. So, sites like this become obviously fishy very quickly. Sometimes they're not easy to spot...just remember if they say it's free, it's probably spam.
